Juan Manuel Revuelta is a graduate from the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Valencia (8299) specialized in European, environmental and financial law.
He also became an expert in formal complaints to the European Union.
Juan Manuel is a visiting lecturer on Lobbying and Advocating at the IE Business School as well as being in charge of the Legal StartUp Europe Award’s call.
He noticed the important amount of oil waste in the HORECA sector Valencia. He then came up with the idea of reusing this oil as biodiesel for the fleet of city buses. This idea was presented and accepted during the Life Programme 2000, in the project Ecobus.
In 2002 Juan Manuel founded erviempres Junior at the Faculty of Law at the Universitat de València. He has been a lawyer for EMAYA (https://www.emaya.es/ca/, del Ayuntamiento de Palma) throughout 2013. Juan Manuel legally advised MICOF (Muy Ilustre Colegio Oficial de Farmacéuticos de Valencia. https://www.micof.es/) (Brussel’s office) regarding public administration’s payment delays.
Throughout his career as a lawyer, he has mentored several interns from Talentium Grants in Spain, and Argo among others. His participation to H2020 Nobel Grid has been about fighting legal barriers of this project.
In 2016, he was awarded by the Ateneo Mercantil from Valencia the prize of Law, Administration and Social Engagement. Furthermore, one of his main clients is Finnovaregio Foundation (Finnova).
